My first attempt at using violin varnish. It is quite an exquisite (and very expensive) concoction made from fossil amber and linseed oil. Brushing it on was pretty fun (with some adrenaline and my left arm maneuvering the guitar by the neck getting weaker and weaker). A couple minutes later and the film already shows 1 million dust particles and 5 insects, but these are supposed to easily disappear when sanding between coats. Now let’s wait a few days for it to cure.
